形態特徵
- A twining shrub, glabrous.
- Leaves opposite, ovate, acuminate at apex, rounded at base, entire, glabrous, strongly nerved.
- Cymes axillary and terminal, lax. Flowers showy; calyx strongly 5-angular, white; corolla crimson, the tube about 2.5 cm long, the lobes 5, spreading; stamens long-exserted.
分布
- 台灣 : cultivated for ornamental purposes, and occasionally escaped.
- 世界 : A native of tropical Africa, widely cultivated in warmer regions of the world.
